Mazda MX5 1,8 During the winter of 09/10 we have installed a Kraftwerks Rotrex kit on our Mazda MX5 democar. We have used many night to test how the big temperature difference between the cold danish winternights and the hot climate in California, where the kit has been developed, has influenced the boostpressure.   VW Polo 6N 1,6 8v The basis for this project is a CCR-racing supercharger kit. The kit includes a C30-74 supercharger unit, bracket for SC, oilkit, oilcooler, intercooler, airfilter, all tubes and hose, a 80 mm pulley (max rpm is standard) and a drive belt. The customer has installed the kit using the standard ECU together with the ROTREX progressive fuel pressure regulator and a MF2 fuelmanagement system . The boostpressure is set to 0.5 bar. The camshaft is a 276” schrick and the compression ratio is lowered. The Dyno result was approximately 150 bhp. With standard compression ratio approximately 130 bhp can be expected.
